I woke up today and got on my bike. I only rode about 1.2 miles but it felt good. Hard but good. My booty hurts. Moving and food is either all junk or starvation. I tried my best but since we have arrived back in Tahoe my food choices have been outstanding. I’m feeling positive that I’m headed back in the right direction.
In 2014 I weighed 350 lbs. In November of that year I had Gastric Bypass surgery. In total I lost 132 lbs. My weight lost was strictly through diet changes as I had trouble figuring out my vitamin levels. A blood transfusion and many vitamins later - I found myself pregnant at age 40. I had put on 14 lbs eating at my company cafe and not meal prepping and I gained 10 lbs through my pregnancy. That 24 lbs swelled my boobs and legs and I honestly feel 350 lbs. My clothes fit and I know it isn't tremendous but its enough to make me realize that I didn't do this surgery to fail. It is time now to go back to protein, veggies and exercise. This blog is to keep me honest and post the foods I do eat and hope to find other people who want to share recipes and stories and insight.
